We service all boots with a quick release holder mechanism.


Including, but not limited to:

  • Bauer Edge
  • CCM XS
  • True Shift blades


IMPORTANT: Always use a blade removal tool with gloves to safely detach the blades from the holder.

Drop-Off & Pick-Up


Visit us in-store and complete your ISP™ within 3-5 minutes, depending on queue length.


1. Remove Blade

  • Release the lock mechanism.
  • Use a blade removal tool with gloves to safely detach the blades from the holder.
  • ONLY include your blades for servicing.

2. Secure & Label

  • Securely package your blades and label them with your name and order number.
  • If you don’t have an order number, please include the profile, pitch, and radius of hollow.

    TIP: Need a blade pouch? They’re available for purchase at all locations.

3. Drop-Off

  • Drop off your blades at a Skatescribe location. Find a location near you.
  • You can either place them in the drop-off box or hand them to an associate at the counter.

4. Pick-Up

  • You’ll receive a confirmation email when your blades are ready for pick-up.
  • For security, we require a valid photo ID at the counter.

Blade Mail-In & Return


Mail-in your blades for an ISP™ — both ways are covered under one cost.


1. Select Shipping Method at Checkout

  • Standard: $30.00 (5-7 business days).
  • Express: $60.00 (3-4 business days).

2. Remove Blade

  • Release the lock mechanism.
  • Use a blade removal tool with gloves to safely detach the blades from the holder.
  • ONLY include your blades for servicing.

3. Secure & Label

  • A Skatescribe representative will email you a UPS shipping label and instructions within 1 business day (this will not apply if you choose to ship yourself).
  • Print and attach the label on your package.

4. Ship Your Package

  • Drop off your package at a UPS location or schedule a UPS pickup.
  • Shipping labels are valid for 60 days.

5. Receive Your Blades

  • You’ll be notified when your blades arrive and when they’re on their way back to you.
